Also a stark reflection on how men are portrayed and how women are portrayed in film. Not just in Bollywood movies of course but clearly

Not even sure why I’m writing that as it’s so obvious and would that things were better today but alas, as we all know, they’re not really are they?

Appetite for Distraction – This Aint No Game.


What it is, who can say.

Movie? Series of explosions? The high point in the career of Hopper, Hoskins, Mathis and Leguizamo?

All video game plots should be shoe-horned into the “real” world like this.

I think the aesthetic is somewhere between Blade Runner and The Fifth Element by way of Jurassic Park.

This movie is SO AMAZING that it needed TWO DIRECTORS just to handle all the entertainment.

There is nothing that one cannot love about this.

Hollywood meeting the video games industry in a dark alley and beating the shit out of it for an hour and a half.

It has made me happy that I remembered this film. Please allow it to make you happy too.
